Children in our care are no different to many children who live within their own families and experience safe care and love. Some of our children will have experienced tough and sometimes traumatic circumstances and will require a foster family that can help them to feel safe, nurtured and secure. If we can have Plymouth children cared for by foster carers who live in and around Plymouth, then we believe that this will improve the life experiences of our children.

If our children in care stay in Plymouth and are looked after by Plymouth Foster Carers ensures that our vulnerable children/teenagers can maintain some sense of normality with familiar surroundings. Many of the children/teenagers who are able to stay in their local surroundings tend to flourish more quickly, as they can attend the same schools and maintain their existing friendship groups.
